For Joey (Judy Ann Santos), who has been single-handedly raised by her father Badong (FPJ), no one could ever break her bond with her father, who has spent his life protecting and keeping her away from anything or anyone that could harm her. Badong, who owns an auto repair shop has raised Joey in a very manly ways, hence Joey’s unladylike manner. No young man has ever tried to pursue her because of her tomboyish acts and because they are scared of her father. It was until Caloy came in that Joey gradually felt something she never felt before. As Caloy came in Joey’s life, so did Beth (Aileen Damiles). She has fine qualities and Badong is smitten. Joey, on the other hand, is threatened that her father’s attention may divert to Beth. How will Badong and Joey maintain their close? Are they doomed to fall apart?
