7 of Maja Salvador's most iconic roles on the big screen

Being a queen truly runs in the blood of Maja Salvador. Not only is she the Queen of the Dance Floor, but she's also a queen when it comes to impressively owning every single role she portrays on the big screen.

Below, we rounded up seven of her most iconic movie roles that she truly made unforgettable, from the second lead Trisha in "One More Chance" to the very relatable Sandy in "My Cactus Heart":

Precious Princess Jewel in "First Day High"

Starring alongside some of her showbiz contemporaries in this 2006 film, Maja perfectly embodied the posh girl image in her character as Pre. Together with her fellow freshmen, Maja gave us equal parts laughs and tears as they unearthed the mystery behind the basketball water contamination accident!

Trisha in "One More Chance"

Maja may have only played a supporting role as Trisha in the 2008 blockbuster romance, but she totally owned it and made us feel her pain when she became Popoy's (John Lloyd Cruz) rebound after his breakup with Basha (Bea Alonzo)!

Rose in "Cinco"

Maja proved she can also do horror when she played Rose in one of the five stories in the 2010 psycho-thriller. In her attempt to stop an accident from happening, Maja makes the biggest sacrifice that puts us all in shock!

Sandy in "My Cactus Heart"

Many can surely relate with Maja's character Sandy, a heartbreaker and a cynic who swore off love after witnessing the failed romance between her parents.  But with the right person, can a thorny heart beat for true love once more?

Barbara in "24/7 In Love"

Even with the stellar cast line-up, Maja shined as the hopeless romantic secretary Barbara in this 2012 romance anthology that mirrors the reality people do in the name of love.

Ellise in "You're Still The One"

In this 2015 romance, Maja made us feel for her character Ellise who never seems to find the perfect timing with her one true love Jojo (Dennis Trillo). When they finally meet again, will their feelings for each other be strong enough to rekindle their love or will he just be her "The One That Got Away" forever?

Faith in "To Love Some Buddy"

Torn between pursuing your feelings for a best friend or just keeping the friendship intact? Well, watch how Faith handled this dilemma in the 2018 film, “To Love Some Buddy”. Maja's realistic portrayal of a woman afraid of risking her decade-long friendship to pursue love will never not be relatable!
