New Gen leading lady Belle Mariano is all set for South Korea to personally receive her Outstanding Asian Star award at the 17th Seoul International Drama Awards (SDA)!
Today, September 21, the "An Inconvenient Love" actress flew to Seoul for the event where she will be formally honored at SDA’s ceremony together with the rest of the 2022 awardees.
Belle is the first-ever actress from the Philippines to nab the award, following the respective 2019 and 2020 wins of actors Alden Richards and Dingdong Dantes.
For those who want to watch the ceremony, it will be broadcast live on KBS 2TV and SDA's official YouTube channel from 5 PM to 9 PM (KST) this Thursday, September 22. Red carpet ceremony will start at 5:30 PM (KST).
Belle, along with her on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan, rose to stardom in the hit teen series “He’s Into Her”. Fondly called as DonBelle by their legion of fans, the two are dubbed as the “New Gen Phenomenal Love Team” of the Philippines.
They are set to star in the upcoming film “An Inconvenient Love” helmed by Petersen Vargas and which will mark Star Cinema’s major comeback to cinemas this year.
It is slated for release in cinemas on November 23!
