COMPILED: 5 kilig-worthy meet-cute scenes in Star Cinema movies!

Slow-motion effect? Electrifying gaze? Skin-to-skin contact? We can all agree that the best meet-cutes have one thing in common: instant chemistry!

It’s about time to relive the memorable first encounters of your favorite love teams through Star Cinema’s newest Meet Cute series which you can now stream for FREE on Facebook.

As part of Star Cinema’s video playlist #MovieClip, the following scenes will surely make you believe in the power of fate and being in the right place at the right time!

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim in “Bride for Rent”

Rocky (Kim) had already heard good things about the ever-charming bachelor Rocco (Xian) even before meeting him, but it was not until she tried to audition to be his fake wife when she experienced his pogi effect in person. In fact, Rocky fainted in the arms of Rocco within 10 seconds of meeting him!

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla in “She’s Dating The Gangster”

The slo-mo effect is real for Athena (Kathryn) whose world literally stopped when Kenji (Daniel) made an entrance into her life… err, school! But once things got back in motion, Athena showed Kenji just how feisty she is, making it impossible for the gangster to forget her.

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia in “Love You to the Stars and Back”

On her self-planned road trip to search for aliens, Mika (Julia) made a quick bathroom break in a field. As it turns out, she’s not the only one who needed a stopover! There, she met a young, cheerful man named Caloy (Joshua). In an attempt to flee from him (and the embarrassing moment they just shared) Mika accidentally ran over Caloy’s foot with his car.

Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber in “Loving in Tandem”

Hopeless romantic Shine (Maymay) has every intention of meeting the love of her life—her “prince.” What she did not plan for was to meet a Filipino-American boy who will change the course of her life. That young man is Luke (Edward) who defended her from a robber who’s trying to steal her belongings.

Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil in “My Ex and Whys”

Rainy scenes are not just for intense emotional exchanges. In this case, rain is the perfect setting for Cali (Liza) and Gio (Enrique) to lay eyes on one another at a party and ignite their chemistry without the need to speak. In the same party, they coincidentally get matched to play “7 Minutes in Heaven” where Gio tells Cali that he is "Mr. Stick to One.”
