It's official: Liza Soberano is joining Cole Sprouse, Kathryn Newton, and more Hollywood stars in the upcoming horror-comedy film "Lisa Frankenstein"!
The "Alone/Together" actress confirmed the news herself in an Instagram post she made earlier today, August 12, posting a screengrab of a Deadline article about her inclusion in the movie.
"Ecstatic to be part of this film," Liza wrote in the caption.
In the comments, Kathryn expressed her excitement to work with Liza in the movie, writing: "I'm ecstatic you're a part of this film!"
As reported by Deadline, Liza will be part of the cast, alongside Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry in the directorial debut of actor-filmmaker Zelda Williams.
The news came just days after the actress was first rumored to be part of the Hollywood project, when Jessie Stafford of JSLA Events tagged Liza in an Instagram Story featuring a clapper board from the set of "Lisa Frankestein".
Zelda, as well as Transparent Arts, the artist management company which handles James Reid in the United States, was also tagged in the same story.
Eagle-eyed netizens were also quick to notice that Cole, Kathryn, and Zelda also followed Liza on Instagram.

"Lisa Frankenstein" is described as a movie set in 1989, and "follows an unpopular high schooler who accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage."
Written by Diablo Cody, the movie officially marks Liza's first Hollywood project.
Since signing with her new management last June, the actress has been busy attending various red carpet events, meeting international artists, and even appearing in a South Korean show.
