Long-time friends and singers Regine Velasquez and Jaya have finally reunited, more than a year since the latter moved abroad.
The Asia’s Queen of Soul happily took to Instagram to share a peek of her mini-reunion with the Asia's Songbird during her "ICONIC" concert with Sharon Cuneta over the weekend.
"Boom. Finally together and I am soooo happy to see you, Mare… and Ate Sharon and good to talk to your Baba Ogie," Jaya wrote in the caption.
"Kulang ang oras pero grabe ang chika 'di ba. So proud of you and happy to just sit back and enjoy your glorious performance. You and Ate Sharon are and will be forever #ICONIC," she added with the hashtag #foreverfan.
Fellow celebrity friends of the two, including Jolina Magdangal and Angeline Quinto, couldn't be happier to see them together again.
"Na-happy ako makita kayo magkasama, Ate Iyay and Ate Reg!!!!" Jolina wrote in the comments.
Angeline, on the other hand, left several heart emojis as she sent her love to the two singers.
Jaya moved to the US in July 2021 with her family. Meanwhile, Regine has officially capped off her "ICONIC" tour with the Megastar after finishing seven shows across the US.
