WATCH: Liza Soberano makes first appearance in Korean TV show

Liza Soberano marked a first in her career as she appeared in the South Korean TV show "Not Hocance But Scance".

On Monday, July 25, MBN Entertainment uploaded a preview of the episode on YouTube, where the "My Ex and Whys" actress appeared as a guest.

In the show, Liza was introduced to Korean stars Nicole, Kang Ji-young, Ye Ji-won, and Soyou, as they bonded over a barbeque meal. The actress also opened up about her stay in Korea, before fondly declaring her love for K-Pop and K-Drama.

“[I am here] for a kind of vacation, kind of work," she shared. "I’m just exploring Seoul and I’m a huge fan of K-Pop and K-Drama so I want to find work here."

When asked why she loves the country, the actress said: "I've liked it since I was 11. It started with K-Pop and then I started watching dramas like 'Boys Over Flowers' and stuff."

Liza then took to her Instagram Stories to share her new milestone, as she thanked the hosts of the show for their warm welcome in the show.

"Had my first-ever Korean show guesting tonight on MBN's 'Not Hocance But Scance'. Thank you to the hosts and guests of the show for making the experience fun and comfortable," she wrote.
