Nasa New York ako!': Maris Racal ecstatic over NY Times Square billboard feature

Maris Racal was in disbelief upon seeing her photo flashed in a digital billboard in the famous Times Square in New York.

In a tweet yesterday, July 21, the "Boyette" actress posted a photo of her massive LED billboard for Spotify's Equal program, as she gushed over her new milestone as an artist.

"Nahihilo ako. Dati lang akong naglalakad sa New York, Cubao. 'Di ko naman akalain na aabot ako sa New York Times Square," she wrote.

"Nahihilo ako seryoso," she said in a follow up tweet.

Maris also uploaded a video of her reaction the moment she first saw her billboard feature on Instagram.

"This was the moment I learned that my face is up in Times Square. Like... OMG. IS THIS REAL? I can’t believe nasa New York ako! Honestly, this inspires me to make more music. Thank you, everyone, for believing in me," she wrote while also thanking Spotify, Sony Music, and Balcony Entertainment for making it possible.

Prior to the actress-singer, Nadine Lustre, Belle Mariano, KZ Tandingan, and Ylona Garcia have also been featured in Times Square billboard under the same Spotify campaign, which highlights women musicians across the globe.

Maris recently starred in the series "How To Move On In 30 days". She will be part of the upcoming "Beyond The Stars" US concert tour with her fellow Star Magic artists this coming August.
