Slater Young and Kryz Uy's one-month-old son Sevi is now recovering after undergoing surgery for his inguinal hernia.

On Tuesday, July 19, the couple posted photos of what went down during their baby's successful surgery over the weekend, as they thanked everyone who wished their son a safe operation.

"Snaps from the weekend with our little warrior. Thank you, Lord, and all of Sevi’s doctors and caregivers for the successful surgery and to the skyfam for the prayers and well wishes. Our brave little boy is recovering well," she wrote.

Kryz first revealed in a vlog she uploaded on July 17 that their newborn son needed surgery after learning that he has inguinal hernia.

“It caught us by surprise. We thought he was a healthy baby boy. We had so many tests done,” she shared in the video.

“Whenever he cries, it triggers the hernia to bulge out. He’s not supposed to be experiencing pain when that happens but it still hurts my heart to see it. I can’t take it. Every time he fusses a little, my instinct is just to get him and hug him and hold him,” she added.

The couple also took Sevi to another doctor for a second opinion, but still had the same diagnosis. It was then that they decided to push through with the operation.

Kryz and Slater welcomed baby Sevi last May. They have another son, Scott Knoa, who recently turned two.
