On Saturday, July 16, the “Extra Service” actress took to Instagram to share a video she originally posted on TikTok showing her first day of taking flying lessons.
In the montage captioned “First day in achieving my #pilotdreams,” Arci can be seen doing flight simulation training then maneuvering an actual airplane while receiving instructions from an aviation instructor.
In her post, the “Always Be My Maybe” star quoted pioneer aviator Amelia Earhart, “Everyone has oceans to fly, if they have the heart to do it. Is it reckless? Maybe. But what do dreams know of boundaries?”
Arci continued to gush over the beginning of her “pilot journey” in the caption.
“Be a woman who rise above the ground breaking norms. Reach for yer dreams! And be whoever you wanna be cos sky is ze limit!! Feeling enthusiastic about my #pilot journey! Thank you for spreading my wings!” she wrote before tagging flight school Topflite Academy.
In a report by PUSH last January, Arci revealed that it’s always been her dream to be a pilot.
“‘Yun talaga ang gusto ko ever since. Balak ko rin maging piloto. Actually mag-i-start na ako ng flying school ko sa February or March,” she said.
