Neri Naig Miranda beamed with excitement as she showed off her latest purchase with husband Chito Miranda: their new house in Baguio City!
In an Instagram post, Neri posted a photo of herself showing a glimpse of what they call “The HillSide House” located in the City of Pines.
Sharing a heartwarming backstory about their family’s living situation, Neri said that she and Chito’s main motivation in making such investments is the future of their children.
“For 24 years, nangungupahan lang kami. Walang masasabing ancestral house kahit maliit, kahit nasa probinsya. Kaya palagi akong nagsusumikap kasama ng asawa ko, na makapag-ipon para makabili ng mga bahay para sa mga anak namin,” she wrote in the caption.
“Ang pagiging mahirap namin nung bata, ako hanggang sa paglaki, ay naging inspirasyon ko para mas magsumikap sa buhay at nang hindi maranasan ng aming mga anak ang kahirapan namin noon,” she said.
Business-minded as she always has been, Neri also added that they are considering renting out the place when they’re not in town: “Syempre, alam n'yo na... pwedeng i-rent din kapag 'di namin ginagamit. Baka next year, pwede na. Business pa rin syempre, hihi!”
After earning her business degree in the University of Baguio last April, Neri ventured with Chito into the Thai food business with their newly opened restaurant Lime and Basil Baguio City.
Neri and Chito have been married for over seven years. They have three children together: sons Miggy and Cash, and adopted daughter Pia.
