Liza Soberano has officially joined Careless, the record label and management agency founded by James Reid.
The "My Ex and Whys" actress signed a contract during the brand's launch that happened today, June 20.
In a video posted by ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe on Twitter, Liza can be seen gracing the stage with James as well as Careless' CEO Jeff Oh.
"A new chapter begins! Liza Soberano is officially now the newest artist of Careless Music," he tweeted.
During the contract signing, Liza shared what she's looking forward to the most on being part of the growing label.
“The fact that they work with young creatives — I’m currently 24 — so it’s very exciting and encouraging to see a lot of people pursuing their dreams and passion at a very young age in a way that they wanna do it,” she said.
Apart from Liza, artist-entrepreneur Issa Pressman was also introduced as one of Careless' newest artists.
It was in late May when Liza's former talent manager Ogie Diaz first revealed that the actress will be managed by James and his team starting June.
During her appearance at the "Identity 2022" in Los Angeles last month, Liza talked about her new career plans of exploring "different opportunities" in the Philippines and Hollywood.
"My personal goal is to be able to bridge the gap between the Philippines and America and kind of help the younger generation, the little girls, who also dream of coming out here and making a career for themselves. I want to make it easier for them when they do that in the future and if that means me taking the first leap, so be it,” she said.
