In true Moira Dela Torre fashion, the singer-songwriter marked the Philippine Independence Day on June 12 singing an excerpt of her hit song "Malaya," which means being free or independent.
The "Idol Philippines" judge took to her Instagram to upload a clip of her singing the chorus of the song, with lyrics that are noticeably tweaked.
The text "Malaya (10 minute version)" can also be seen in the video, seemingly in reference to Taylor Swift's longer and more heartbreaking version of "All Too Well".
"Happy malaya day," she wrote in the caption of the video.
"Malaya," which was released in 2017, was among the hit singles of Moira along with "Tagpuan," "Ikaw at Ako," and "Paubaya," among others.
The video came almost two weeks after her husband Jason Marvin Hernandez confirmed their separation after three years of marriage.
In the joint statement, Jason confessed to being "unfaithful" to Moira, saying that his infidelity led to the breakup.
Moira also denied speculations that she cheated on Jason in another statement, saying that she "stayed true" to her marriage vows.
