It's been more than two decades since Giselle "G" Tongi left the Philippines, and it's safe to say she's never been happier and more at peace living her life with her family in Los Angeles, California.
The former actress opened up about her life abroad in the third episode of "Wer Na U," from when she moved to the United States when she was 21 to now living a married life with two beautiful kids.
According to Giselle, the greatest struggle of moving abroad was adjusting to doing things she wasn't used to doing before.
Yet, the actress embraced her brand new environment and thrived from being a student to a bartender and now, an Executive Director at FilAm ARTS Los Angeles.
In the episode, Giselle also shared how much she misses PH and her former colleagues in showbiz.
"What I miss most about the Philippines is, I miss my family, I miss my friends. Do I miss working? Yes, of course I do," she said. "But I don't miss the long hours na nasa set ako buong magdamag.
On whether she's open to coming back in the local showbiz scene, Giselle said: "Absolutely! I'm always open, but my life is here in America.
