Sharon Cuneta couldn't hold back her tears upon seeing one of her idols at the “Begin Again: K-pop Edition” concert held yesterday, May 29, at the Araneta Coliseum.
On Twitter, her daughter Frankie Pangilinan shared a candid photo of her mom doing a heart sign with her light sticks and fangirling over SHINee member Kim Kibum, better known as Key.
"Kim Kibum, ikaw lang ang nagpapaiyak ng mama ko na ganito," Frankie wrote in a tweet.
Sharon also shared a screenshot of her daughter's tweet on her Instagram page, proudly admitting how emotional she gets whenever she sees her favorite K-Pop group.
"Nakakahiya man pero SHINee (this time si Key pa lang) ang nakakapagpaiyak sa akin ng ganito," she wrote. "I was so happy when I got to meet NCT 127, but I will cry buckets if all of SHINee comes. And possibly EXO too (especially DO)," she added.
In another post, the 56-year-old actress reposted a video where fellow K-Pop fans can be seen cheering the actress when she entered the venue.
"Upon entering the Coliseum from backstage tonight (Nope - we didn’t see Key or NCT Dream there.). Thank you, fellow K-Pop fans! I felt like I was with friends!" she wrote.
Prior to the "Begin Again" concert, Sharon also attended the K-pop World Music Festival in 2019 where she had the chance to meet and have a photo with the K-Pop group NCT 127.
Currently, Sharon is gearing up for her upcoming concert with Regine Velasquez this June 17 and 18 at the Resorts World Manila.
