James Reid is Liza Soberano's new manager, Ogie Diaz confirms

James Reid will officially be Liza Soberano's new manager, Ogie Diaz confirmed in his latest vlog uploaded earlier today, May 27.

In the 20-minute video, the showbiz columnist revealed that his contract with the actress as his talent manager will officially end on May 31, and that she decided to no longer renew it with him.

"Magalang naman 'yung bata, in fairness.

"At 'yun nga kasama roon sa mensahe niya sa akin na gusto niyang mag-try sa Hollywood," he added, referring to the Hollywood plans of the actress.

Ogie then looked back at the 11 years he shared with Liza as his manager, and how he'll always owe the life of his daughter Miracle to the actress.

Happy na ako," he added.

The columnist also said Liza introduced to him the new management that will handle her career in the Philippines and in Hollywood moving forward.

"Yes, as a manager si James Reid," he affirmed. Career sa US at sa Pilipinas," he explained.

Ogie also took the opportunity to clarify the actress' contracts with ABS-CBN which has since expired. According to him, Liza will remain doing projects with the network despite not renewing her contract with them.

"As far as I am concerned and as a manager, wala ng kontrata si Liza sa ABS-CBN, at sa Star Cinema, at sa Star Magic.

Currently, Liza is in Los Angeles with James and his team. She recently graced the Gold House Gala and the Asia Society Southern California 2022 Annual Gala.
