Markus Paterson teased the release of his new song "Help" which will come out on his birthday this June 3.
The RISE artist made the announcement on his Instagram Stories yesterday, May 24.
Sharing a black-and-white mirror selfie, he wrote: "I have a song coming out June 3. My birthday. It's called 'HELP'."
Earlier this month, the "U-Turn" star dropped his collaboration with Kyle Echarri and Moophs titled "Hotel Room," an R&B track about feeling lost, empty, and downcast.
According to Markus, he wrote the song during the time he felt lost in life.
“I wrote ‘Hotel Room’ about a specific time in my life when I was trapped by vices and surrounded by the wrong crowd. Looking back on it, I’m proud of myself for getting out of that hole and out of it came a pretty alright sounding song,” he said.
“I think it’s the best time to release this song because I’m a responsible father now, and it’s a reminder of who I was, not who I am now," he added.
Markus last appeared in the primetime series "Viral Scandal" which ended in mid-May.
