Angelica Panganiban and Gregg Homan chose to share their love story for their first-ever vlog entry in their joint YouTube channel "The Homans."
In the 16-minute video uploaded yesterday, May 23, the couple recalled how it all began for them, all thanks to their common friend Cherry Pie Picache.
According to Angelica, Cherry Pie had been wanting to introduce Gregg to her as early as 2018, but they only had the chance to meet in 2020 when she was taping for "Walang Hanggang Paalam" in Subic.
To grant Cherry Pie's request, Angelica just agreed to meet Gregg. During their first meeting, the "Love or Money" actress shared how much she's been struggling to get food that she wanted while in Subic.
Gregg found this as an opportunity to make a move to Angelica. He said, “Parang that was my in – asking her what type of food she likes. When I found out, a couple of days later, I sent some food over to the hotel for the whole crew. I knew at one point she would have to thank me and I would get her number."
Since then, the two had been communicating through texts and even went on a boat ride together.
In their first few dates, Angelica recalled having to ask her friends to accompany her: “Nandiyan pa ‘yung mga friends na backup. Parang, ‘Dito lang kayo. Huwag niyo akong iwan sa kanya.’ Tumagal-tagal, napapansin ko nang nae-enjoy ko na kaming dalawa lang ‘yung magkausap,” she said.
Fast forward to when they became official that same year, Gregg admitted that he and Angelica already had talks of building a family in the early days of their relationship.
“Feeling ko doon ko naramdaman na worth it ang lahat kasi wala akong nararamdamang takot noong pinagusapan namin about building a family together," Angelica admitted.
The 35-year-old actress also said that she would focus on her life as a mom once she gives birth, stressing that she had already dedicated 30 years of her life in showbiz.
Another thing she revealed from her post-birth plans is the set of godparents their baby is going to have. Of course, Angelica’s closest friends in the industry are included, like Glaiza de Castro, Ketchup Eusebio, and John Prats.
