Julia Montes gave a peek of the handwritten letters she received from Susan Roces as she paid tribute to the late veteran actress on Instagram.
On Saturday, May 21, the "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" actress recounted her greatest memories with the Queen of Philippines Movies, and how she promises to value all the lessons and advice she learned from her.
Among the things Julia also treasures include a present she received from the screen legend.
At 'yung pagkakataong binigyan niyo po ako ng CD na may kantang 'Greatest Love of All'," she recalled.
Julia then ended her post declaring her love for the veteran star: "Salamat po sa masasayang alaala at magagandang aral. Mahal na mahal ka po namin. Hanggang sa muli po!" she wrote.
Susan, who was dubbed as the Queen of Philippine Movies, passed away on May 20 at the age of 80.
Apart from “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” Julia and Susan worked together in the 2012 TV series “Walang Hanggan” and again in 2013 for “Muling Buksan ang Puso."
