It's a wrap for team "Asian Persuasion"!
Lead star KC Concepcion shared the news on her Instagram page yesterday, May 19, along with some photos she took at New York City where they shot the film.
"After two months of living and working in NYC, we finally wrapped our film @asianpersuasionfilm!!! Excited for you guys to see it!" she wrote in the caption.
KC also said she visited Hillsong Church for the first time "to thank God for everything."
"Asian Persuasion" marks KC's acting comeback after nine years.
According to a report by Variety, the film follows the story of “a down-on-his-luck chef who cooks up a crazy scheme to marry off his ex-wife in an attempt to avoid his substantial alimony obligations.”
It is helmed by three-time Tony Awards and Grammy Awards winner Jhett Tolentino, and stars Dante Basco, Paolo Montalban, Jax Bacani, Apl.de.Ap, Yam Concepcion, Fe Delos Reyes, Tony Labrusca, and Rex Navarrete.
Before the Hollywood project, KC starred in a number of Star Cinema films including "For The First Time" and "Forever and a Day," among others.
