Baron Geisler recently confirmed that his wife Jamie Evangelista has asked him for an annulment.
In a report by PUSH on Saturday, April 30, the actor thanked those who congratulated him on his recent graduation as he clarified that he’s still a “work in progress” with regard to his relapse into alcoholism.
“Guys, I appreciate your congratulatory messages but I really did not work that hard to earn a degree in Theology, I take it as a blessing. I am still a work in progress. I’m still in treatment for my alcohol addiction, hoping that I will get better roles in the future,” he said.
Baron shared how taking on roles that are “contradictory” to his family values have negatively affected his marriage, leading his wife of over two years to seek annulment.
Currently, they are both undergoing a 12-step program in line with Baron’s recovery.
Baron explained, “Jamie and I followed the advice of our sponsors to take a break and seek treatment as we renew our efforts to each work on our 12-step program. Hopefully, we can soon be back together when emotions are less raw.”
The couple have been married since September 2019. Their daughter, Talitha Cumi, turned two last January.
