The wait is almost over, madlang people: "It's Showtime" just teased the nearing return of Anne Curtis!
On Wednesday, May 18, the noontime show dropped a teaser on Twitter with the voice of the actress heard in the background, as the words "Na-miss natin siya. Andito na siya, madlang people. Abang-anne!" flashed on screen.
The teaser, however, didn't mention an exact date when Anne will make her comeback.
Last March, the "The Mall, The Merrier" actress reunited with her "It's Showtime" family over dinner, which prompted her fans to be excited for her return to the noontime show.
It was in 2019 when Anne went on a showbiz hiatus after temporarily leaving the show to give birth to her daughter Dahlia in Australia. She then flew back to the Philippines in February 2021.
Since her return, the actress-host has made it clear that she is still with the noontime show, and is just waiting for the right time to be back.
Currently, she's gearing up for her comeback concert “Luv-Anne” on June 11 at Resorts World Manila.
Aside from “The Mall, The Merrier”, Anne has starred in other unforgettable Star Cinema films, including “No Other Woman”, “Ang Cute ng Ina Mo”, and more.
