Almost two decades since her win, Miss International 2005 Lara Quigaman got to wear her "crown" again at the Binibining Pilipinas Grand Santacruzan 2022.
The beauty queen-turned-actress graced the event as this year's Reyna Emperatríz, wearing a beige Filipiniana by Paul Tenorio and a replica of her Miss International crown.
You can take a closer look at it in one of her posts last May 14:
According to Lara, it was her first time to meet the creator of the original crown during the Grand Santacruzan, jewelry designer Manny Halasan.
In another post, Lara shared a heartwarming story about her eldest son Noah's first Grand Santacruzan experience.
"10 years ago, I was the Reyna Elena in Araneta's Grand Santacruzan. I was pregnant with @noahalcaraz then," she recalled.
"Today, kasali na rin siya at may sarili na siyang Reyna Elena. Our beautiful Bb Pilipinas International. Thank you @arnoldhan_ for looking after Noah, kilig siya, eh," she added.
