Tony Labrusca named Nadine Lustre as the female actress he wants to work with in the future, and here's the reason why!
In a report by Bandera published on Tuesday, May 10, Tony revealed why he’s attracted to the idea of potentially working with the “Beauty and the Bestie” actress, attributing it to Nadine's "cool" demeanor and assertiveness.
“I really want to work with Nadine because I like the way she handles herself,” he admitted.
“Feeling ko ang cool niya. Hopefully, one day we can work together. Makikita mo alam niya kung ano ang gusto niya at gagawin niya kung ano ang gusto niya,” he explained.
Tony, who had been cast in the Asian-American film “Asian Persuasion” starring KC Concepcion, also shared his recent experience working on the Hollywood project.
“I had fun doing it. At kakaiba rin ‘yung style ng shooting dun compared dito sa Philippines. But nag-enjoy ako, kaming lahat habang ginagawa namin 'yung mga eksena,” he said.
“It’s a fun cameo, so you’ll see me in the movie at some point. The film will also be shown here in the Philippines maybe later this year or early next year," he added.
Directed by Tony Award and Grammy-winning producer Jhett Tolentino, “Asian Persuasion” also stars Dante Basco, Paolo Montalban, Celia Au, Kevin Kreider, Scarlett Sher and Ami Sheth.
Tony appeared in the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry “The Mall, The Merrier”. The following year, he starred in the hit BL series “Hello Stranger” opposite JC Alcantara.
