If there's one thing McCoy De Leon realized amid the pandemic is that life is indeed short.
In an article published by PUSH on Thursday, May 12, the "Block Z" actor revealed that spending time at home during the quarantine made him realize a lot of things, including moving abroad with his partner Elisse Joson and their daughter Felize.
"Na-realize ko sa pandemic na life is short and hindi natin masasabi 'yung buhay, eh," he said. "At the same time, para maging safe din. Kaya itong mga nangyari sa amin ngayon, gusto ko iparanas sa kanya na makapunta sa ibang lugar and at the same time sa baby namin gusto namin mapasaya."
Prior to this idea, McCoy admitted that bringing Elisse abroad has always been one of his plans. But whenever they plan on taking a trip, work would get in the way.
Now, with all the time in their hands, all McCoy would want is to witness the growth of their daughter no matter how hard it would be for them.
“Expected naman na merong hard times kasi meron talagang pagsubok in the future pero ang importante 'yung journey din namin," he said. "'Yung journey and progress niya growing up, ang saya ma-witness nun and memories din with her. Wala kami halos hirap pero gusto namin mahirapan para matuto pa,” he added.
The couple, who celebrated their daughter's 1st birthday last April, starred together in Black Sheep’s 2019 film “Sakaling Maging Tayo”.
