Catriona Gray is thankful to have reunited with her father Ian Gray in Australia after “one of the scariest times” for their family.
In an Instagram post on April 4, the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder wrote a message of gratitude to God as well as her family and friends for extending their prayers. She also shared a photo of her dad’s hand with an IV.
Without revealing the details, Catriona made the post in reference to a medical condition her dad has gone through “the last two weeks.”
“Finally reunited with daddy,” she captioned the post. “I can't even express how grateful I am to God, and my family and friends who were praying alongside my family and I these last two weeks.”
“Prayer is so powerful - my family's story is a testament to that. It was one of the scariest times, but we're out of the woods now. My dad is the strongest person I know, my real-life hero. Love you papa,” she added.
In May 2021, Catriona visited her parents in Australia after more than a year of not being with them.
Last week, she went to Singapore for the unveiling of her wax figure at Madame Tussauds. She is the first Filipino to have a wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
Catriona is scheduled to go on a concert tour in Canada with her boyfriend actor-singer Sam Milby next month.
