Jake Cuenca confirms split with Kylie Verzosa: ‘No bitterness, no anger, and no regrets’

Jake Cuenca and Kylie Verzosa have officially called it quits.

The “Viral Scandal” actor confirmed his breakup with the beauty queen-actress in an Instagram post on Saturday, April 23.

“This was us,” he wrote of a photo showing a custom wooden figurine of himself and Kylie together with their shared dogs Nugget and Leo.

Jake poured his thoughts and feelings out in the caption, setting the record straight after a week of being hounded with breakup speculations.

“I’ll hold on to all our precious memories together with so much value. These past three years of my life have certainly been the best. I say this with such a heavy heart, but me and Kylie have decided to go our separate ways,” he wrote.

He revealed that while they have chosen to end their three-year relationship, they still made sure to part ways on good terms.

“I’m still so proud of us because we didn’t want to break up in anger. We both wanted to be able to look back on our relationship with no bitterness, no anger, and no regrets, only the good memories. Certainly that’s what I will be holding on to,” he added.

In the same caption, Jake told Kylie that he’s always going to be rooting for her success and “sending love and positivity” to the "Kasal" actress.

“I will still be here to support you, because in so many ways I feel part of your journey and I will always pray for your success. I’m happy we were able to finish this chapter of our lives the same way we started it. Holding hands as friends. Wherever you are or whatever you're doing I will always be sending you love and positivity. Know that you will always have a person in me who will always be proud of you. I’ll see you around, Kylie,” he concluded the post.

On the same day, Jake posted a selfie of himself in tears on his Instagram Story, along with a screenshot of the song "Let It Go" by James Bay.

Jake and Kylie first went public with their relationship in 2019, after working together on the 2018 drama series “Los Bastardos.”
