'It's never too late': Ruffa Gutierrez set to graduate college in July

Ruffa Gutierrez is set to finish her college degree this year!

The actress shared the news during the March 3 episode of "It's Showtime" where she is a regular judge of the "Showtime Sexy Babe" segment. Ruffa is currently taking a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Communication Arts under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program at the Philippine Women’s University.

The topic came up when the hosts asked her why she was absent from the show the day prior, and she explained that she has been busy with her schooling.

“Naku, nag-aaral ako. I had academic deadlines!” Ruffa said. “Practicum ko na. Tomorrow ang last day ko.”

“I’m graduating college in July,” she excitedly shared.

Now 47 years old, Ruffa believes it's "never too late" to be a degree holder at her age.

“At least hindi na lang ako high school graduate," she added. "Pero excuse me, 13 years old naman nagtatrabaho na ako, ‘di ba. [It’s] never too late!”

It was in May last year when the "Love Thy Woman" star announced that she had decided to go back to school.
