Unlike the title of their upcoming online series "How To Move On In 30 Days," Carlo Aquino and Maris Racal believe there's no timeline in moving on from a breakup.
In the series' grand media conference today, March 30, the lead stars opened up about their moving on process from their past relationships. Interestingly, the two have different approaches, despite sharing the same belief.
For Carlo, it's a process you just go through until you feel you're over it already.
"Ako, walang timeline. 'Yung moving on, proseso siya. In time, mawawala na lang siya eventually. Minsan nga, hindi mo alam naka-move on ka na," he said.
Maris, on the other hand, is a far cry from her character Jen, who is forced to hire someone just so she could move on from a breakup. In real life, she actually doesn't need to exert that much effort to move on.
"Thankfully naman, sa awa ng Diyos, hindi talaga ako nahirapan ever since mag-move on. Kasi minsan, sa padulo na ng relationship, unti-unti mo nang natatanggap na hindi para sa 'kin itong taong 'to. So the moment na nag-decide ka na na nagbreak na kayo, you finally accept na hindi kayo para sa isa't isa. And then iyak-iyak lang, tapos okay ka na," she shared.
The "Pumila Ka" singer also echoed Carlo's sentiments about taking time. "It's a process na hindi dapat minamadali. Dapat magtake time ka, whether it's fast or mahaba, i-enjoy mo lang 'yung process because that's what's gonna make you who you are in the future."
"How To Move On in 30 Days" will begin streaming this April 4, 6PM, exclusively on ABS-CBN Entertainment Youtube Channel!
