If you grew up in the 90s, then you know just how iconic Paula Cole is. And if you owned a TV back then, then you definitely know her song “I Don’t Want to Wait” by heart, thanks to the hit series “Dawson’s Creek.”
Gigi De Lana served some major nostalgia when she did a cover of the song during one her sessions with her band The Gigi Vibes, composed of Jon, Jake, and Romeo.
The performance, uploaded on January 31, was reposted on Twitter by her fans and tagged Paula to notice it.
The Grammy-winning singer, who’s also know for hits like “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” and “Feeling’ Love,” thankfully did and sent her approval for Gigi’s rendition.
"I love hearing new interpretations of my songs 🙏🏽❤️" said wrote.
