Part of being a celebrity is getting unsolicited yet inevitable questions such as when they'll get married, when they plan to have kids, or how many kids they want. While it can be a sensitive topic to most, some celebs happily answered these questions that give us a glimpse of what their lives could be like in the future.
Below are five celebs who have opened up about having kids in their previous interviews:
Back in 2018, Liza revealed in her "YES!" feature that she wants to have four kids since she comes from a big family.
"Gusto ko four para hindi madami, hindi rin konti. Parang sakto lang,” she explained.
When asked if she and her boyfriend Enrique Gil have already discussed this, the actress said it was just her personal preference.
“Ay, hindi. Ako lang sa sarili ko. Kasi marami akong kapatid kaya gusto ko din," she said. "Ayoko ng only child. Ayoko din naman ng dalawa lang kasi feeling ko, lagi silang mag-aaway. At least 'pag four, medyo merong magkakampi na parang hati,” she furthered.
Prior to tying the knot with Neil Arce, the two have already talked about the number of kids they want to have in the future. Angel said she originally dreamed of having twins, but now, she'd be happy to have one or two children.
“Hindi naman basketball team. Mga isa or dalawa," she said in an interview with Matteo Guidicelli. "Dati twins ang gusto ko pero nakita ko 'yung mga kaibigan ko na may mga anak, parang hindi ko kaya na sabay. Kailangan nakatutok ka talaga. Kung mabigyan ako ng blessing ni Lord, go."
If you would ask Nadine about having kids years ago, she'd certainly say two. But at this point in time, the actress is sure she doesn't want to have any.
In an interview with Dr. Aivee Teo in one of her vlogs, the singer-actress said she'd rather adopt since a lot of kids right now need care.
"There are so many people na on Earth, and I do believe that there are lots of kids who don't have parents and who need taking care of. So I feel like if I do wanna have kids, I might just adopt," she explained.
Like Liza Soberano, Julia actually aims to have a "tribe" or four to five children.
Speaking to her sister Dani Barretto in one of her vlogs, the actress revealed that she plans to have a family of her own at 29. She also believes that her purpose in this world is actually to become a mother.
“That’s just really it. That is the perfect age. And I feel like if you want a lot of kids, you have to start early,” she said.
Before Alex had a miscarriage in October 2021, the vlogger-host has always been open about her dream of building a family with husband Mikee Morada.
Before, she would always say she sees herself having two kids, although she doubts her parenting skills.
“Gusto ko na siya. Pero parang kapag nandiyan na, feeling ko parang hindi ko pala kaya. Parang ganun,” she said.
