An inspiring "Pinoy Big Brother" alumna and casts of two well-loved digital series were the guests for this week's "We Rise Together"!
"Hello, Heart" has officially concluded last February 2, and the cast of the series led by Gerald Anderson had a heartwarming virtual mini-reunion in the show as they officially bade goodbye to their viewers.
While 2021 has certainly been a good year for Gerald with his back-to-back projects, the actor said he hopes to have more time for himself this 2022 and just live in the moment.
"2021, ang dami kong ginawa rin kasi. Sa awa ng Diyos, marami rin akong trabaho, medyo tuloy-tuloy din kahit may pandemic. As we speak, ngayon andito ako sa farm. I'm just trying to live the moment muna kasi gusto ko i-enjoy muna yung buhay na walang work. It also gives me a break, nare-reenergize ako bago mag-work. Excited na ako to start taping for a new project," said Gerald.
"For 2022, sana magkaroon ako ng alone time to appreciate and look back sa mga ginawa natin."
During the show, his girlfriend Julia Barretto also made an appearance and he even credited her as someone he's grateful to have welcomed in his life. Kilig!

For this week's flashback episode, take a trip down the memory lane with the girls of "He's Into Her" — Kaori Oinuma, Vivoree, Criza Taa, Dalia Varde, Ashley Del Mundo, Sophie Reyes, Melizza Jimenez, and Belle Mariano — as they talked about their characters in the series.
In one segment, DJ Jhai Ho asked the girls the same questions thrown for the Miss Universe candidates in 2021.
Asked about the importance of leadership for a young Filipino woman like her, Belle said, "If I were to be a leader in the concept of being a woman, I would apply equality to everyone. I feel like that's what we need -- equality goes in so many things. First, equality in gender. It's such a huge issue right now. Women have been oppressed for so many years and that's one thing we can apply."
"Another thing, you shouldn't be a boss when you're a leader. When you're a boss, you just demand, but when you're being a leader, you should consider everyone. Being equal that's why you should apply equality."
Very well said, Belle! See more of their empowering answers here:
"Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10" alumna Karen Bordador graced the February 4 episode to share more of her journey since she joined the reality show.
According to Karen, her inclusion in "PBB" became an avenue to show the real her, not the image that the media projected of her.
"It was such a great platform for me to express who I am. People know kung ano man 'yung picture na hinubog sa'kin ng media noon, hindi po ako 'yun. Now, alam naman natin kapag pumasok ka sa bahay ni Kuya, napakaraming opportunities that will come our way. And that's what's happening...I'm so glad," she said.
Karen said she also found a second family and new set of friends with her fellow "PBB" alums whom she's very grateful for.
