Gerald, Jolina, and Zanjoe share why they chose to stay with ABS-CBN

Three of ABS-CBN's most prized stars Gerald Anderson, Jolina Magdangal, and Zanjoe Marudo remain Kapamilyas as they renewed their contracts with the network earlier today, February 23.

Being some of the biggest names in showbiz, the three stars were asked in a media conference held after the contract signing the inevitable question: why do they choose to remain with ABS-CBN despite the non-renewal of its franchise?

For the "Magandang Buhay" host, it was a choice she made wholeheartedly — no ifs, no buts.

Basta try mo pa rin akapin 'yung iba," she added.

Gerald, who recently wrapped up his iQiyi series "Hello, Heart," compared his loyalty to the network to that of a family in real life.

"Pamilya na 'to, eh. You stick together," he said. "Doon mate-test talaga 'yung resilience niyo bilang pamilya. Kapamilya strong."

Meanwhile, the "The Broken Marriage Vow" leading man believes now is the best time to show support to the network who helped build the careers they have now as artists.

The "Kapamilya Strong 2022" served as the kick-off event of Star Magic's year-long celebration to commemorate its 30th year.
