Jake Cuenca recently opened up about his family's grief over the passing of his beloved grandmother, Lola Elvie.
On February 20, Jake took to Instagram to share about this “difficult time” for his family, conveying the sorrow and pain he’s felt over the past three weeks due to his Lola’s passing.
“The past 3 weeks have been a very difficult time for my family,” he wrote in the caption. “It was very hard to set this aside for 3 weeks because I was on location shooting but today it finally sank in.”
“My beloved Lola Elvie is not with us anymore although I know you’re in a better place now and I know you are happy in heaven with Tio Manoling. It’s still so hard to fathom that you’re not with us anymore. I love you, Lola Elvie. We miss you. Rest In Peace. I will hold onto every memory we have together. I miss you already,” he dedicated to his late grandmother.
In mourning, the “Viral Scandal” actor advised his followers to make the most out of the time we’re given to show how much we care for our own families and loved ones.
“If you have a chance to tell your loved ones that you love them take it, say it and mean it. Never be afraid to express love because we never know what tomorrow has in store,” he said.
