Catriona Gray has spoken up about the tragic passing of Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst.
The Miss Universe 2018 titleholder took to Instagram to express her disbelief and sorrow over the sudden death of her fellow beauty queen.
“Ches… I can't believe the news. Rest in peace angel. The world will miss your light. 🕊” Catriona wrote in the caption.
Cheslie died at 30 years old after reportedly jumping from her high-rise apartment in Manhattan, New York around 7:15 AM. The cause of her death has been confirmed to be suicide.
On that note, Catriona highlighted the importance of mental health in her post.

Also, let's reach out to friends and loved ones. These continue to be isolating times, mental health is so important, let's not downplay its importance in the lives of every individual," she stressed.
