WATCH: The ABS-CBN Christmas ID 2022 spotlights stories of hope, joy, and gratitude

The 2022 ABS-CBN Christmas ID is here and it's the perfect and most heartfelt way to usher in the season of joy and gift-giving.

With the theme "Tayo Ang Ligaya Ng Isa’t Isa," the Christmas ID official music video touched on some of the biggest inspirational stories this year. There’s Joana De Chavez-Maring, who successfully saved the life of her grandfather after following the "F.A.S.T." Method, as demonstrated in the Kapamilya series "2 Good 2 Be True". There’s also Florentino Idias, a father who went viral for graduating from junior high school at his age; his daughter also graduated earlier this year from senior high school and insisted on having her graduation photo with him, despite him wearing dirty work clothes.

ABS-CBN's Christmas ID also honored the unsung heroes of our generation: our OFWs, teachers, health workers, and emergency rescuers, among many others, who willingly sacrifice their time and put their lives at risk for other people.

The glorious and festive song of the Christmas ID meanwhile featured the shining vocals of Kapamilya A-listers Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, KZ Tandingan, Morissette Amon, and Angeline Quinto, among others. "Darna" series stars Jane De Leon, Janella Salvador, and Joshua Garcia, and "It's Showtime" hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis also lent their voices for the track.

Some of ABS-CBN's most prized love teams Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad, and Seth Fedelin and Francine Diaz lifted the song even more with their presence.

Many more Kapamilya artists also appeared in the video, including stars of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Labyu with an Accent" Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria, as well as stars of the upcoming Black Sheep-produced series "Teen Clash" Jayda Avanzado, Markus Paterson, and Aljon Mendoza.

ABS-CBN chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, and chief operating officer for broadcast Cory Vidanes also gave messages of hope towards the end of the video; this after the video was introduced with warm holiday greetings from Charo Santos-Concio.
