That was the first thing that came to our minds upon seeing the post by a Kaori Oinuma and Jeremiah Lisbo fan who recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend.
In a tweet by @kaomiaya last January 2, she revealed that her boyfriend proposed to her right after they watched the 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival entry "Love at First Stream" in cinemas.
According to her, her boyfriend isn't the type to watch romance films but he made an exception just for her.
"Walang hilig ang bf q (ko) sa mga love story pero napilit ko talaga siyang manood ng LAFS ('Love at First Stream'). Alam niya kasi how much I love Kaomiah then di ko in-expect na sa sinehan talaga siya magpo-propose after nung movie," she tweeted.
@kaomiaya then said that the MMFF entry will always have a special place in her heart.
The tweet has since gone viral, and Kaori even noticed the tweet, which she reposted on her Instagram Stories.
The KaoMiah fan also gave another update to further amp our kilig.
"Owemgee nagulat ako nag-viral ung tweet ko about sa proposal sakin pero seryoso super thankful aq (ako) sa inyo @kaori_oinuma @JordanLisbo dahil sa inyo na-pressure bf q (ko) pakiligin ako haha. Baka sa sobrang ganda nung 'Love at First Stream' kaya napa-propose," she tweeted.
Truly, the #LAFSEffect is UNSTOPPABLE! ❤
Also starring Daniela Stranner and Anthony Jennings, and helmed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, "Love at First Stream" is still showing in select cinemas nationwide.
