Yeng Constantino, Ryan Bang finally get their 'closure' after more than 10 years

Yeng Constantino and Ryan Bang finally had their closure, more than 10 years since they had past romantic feelings for each other.

Over the weekend, the two made headlines with their "what if" kind of love story: they talked about how Ryan apparently "ghosted" Yeng, because he assumed he had no chance with the singer.

During the January 28 episode of "It's Showtime," Ryan recalled how he courted Yeng back in 2010. He admitted she was his first-ever crush back then, to the point that he attends events at the church where the singer goes.

However, Ryan suddenly stopped with his sweet gestures towards Yeng, including his routine of sending coffee to the singer.

This led to Yeng assuming that the comedian had stopped courting her.

Akala ko, ayaw mo sa akin,” he added, saying he thought that there was a blossoming romance between Yeng and Richard.

Upon hearing Ryan's side, Yeng acknowledged his part. “Sa explanation niya, naiintindihan ko ngayon," she said. “Noong time na ‘yun, hindi talaga ako puma-party.”

The "Da One That Got Away" star then took the opportunity to apologize to Yeng for suddenly "ghosting" her.

The two also got to have their closure off-cam, when Ryan approached Yeng and talked about their conversation on TV.

In a tweet posted by @itsShowtimeNa, Yeng can be heard saying to Ryan: "Okay na ako. Siyempre may asawa na ako. At least ito, may closure na tayo.”

In the following episode of the noontime show on Saturday, January 29, Yeng was asked by Vice Ganda if she was referring to Ryan with her song "Chinito."

The singer said it was actually written by a friend of hers, although there was a song that was inspired by their "love story" -- her song "B.A.B.A.Y."

She even sang the chorus in front of Ryan, who seemingly felt every single lyric of her song.

Now that they've had their closure, Yeng said that she feels "lighter" knowing that they've finally put an end to that chapter of their lives.
