Zaijian Jaranilla is now single

Zaijian Jaranilla is now single.

The young actor shared the news during his virtual media conference for the upcoming series "The Broken Marriage Vow" on Thursday, January 13.

The revelation happened when he was asked for his take on cheaters — the main conflict in the show where his father (Zanjoe Marudo) cheated on his mom (Jodi Sta. Maria).

Zaijian, put on the hot seat, had to pause before sharing his thoughts.

“Paano ba sasagutin 'yan? Actually, wala na [akong girlfriend]. Hindi na ko in a relationship,” he admitted.

When asked for the details about their breakup, the "Boyette" star declined to further expound, although he revealed that it happened a little less than a month ago.

Zaijian first opened up about his non-showbiz girlfriend in October 2020.

According to the actor, his partner served as his inspiration everyday. "Sobra po (siyang inspirasyon). Nakakatulong po siya sa akin. Parang mas inspired ako sa pang-araw-araw... kapag gumigising ako tapos alam ko na may nagmamahal sa akin, tapos may naghihintay sa akin," he said during one of his interviews in "Magandang Buhay."
