It has all been rainbows and butterflies for Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson ever since they went public about their relationship last March.
They've been going on trips together, been trying out new things as a couple, and been achieving milestones together. So there would be no way Julia would walk out of their relationship, just like her character Yanna in her upcoming series with Marco Gumabao.
But of course, there would be an exception to this, according to Julia.
"Siguro I will only walk away from a relationship kapag ayaw na ng isa. I'll only walk away when he walks away," she said during a virtual media conference. "In general, ha."
What prompted her to say this was when she was asked about the reason that will make her give up on someone you love.
However, she cleared that it would be hard to decide if you're not in that situation, said Julia.
"Mahirap sagutin 'yung tanong na ganyan lalo na kapag wala ka sa sitwasyon na ganun. Nasa kutob yan eh, nasa pakiramdam 'yan. Pero I will only walk away when the person I'm in a relationship with wants to walk away."
"Because there's respect, we respect that they don't want it anymore. So hindi na, 'wag pilitin. Don't force somebody to be in a relationship with you if they don't want to be with you anymore. And I think that's the time you walk away as well," she stressed.
It was in March when Gerald confirmed that he and Julia are in a relationship through a tell-all interview with Boy Abunda.
Just recently, the actress joined the Philippine Coast Guard where the actor is an Auxiliary Lieutenant Commander.
