Yeng Constantino returned to the “ASAP Natin ‘To” stage to celebrate her 15th year in showbiz on Sunday, September 5.
The singer/actress performed “Ikaw” and “Salamat”, two of her greatest hits, with “new breed singers” Anji Salvacion, Diego Gutierrez, Sam Cruz, and Angela Ken.
After the performance, Yeng expressed how glad she is to be back on the musical variety show. “Na-miss ko ang ‘ASAP’ family natin. Siyempre, isa pong malaking karangalan ang maging parte ng ‘ASAP’ dahil dito po talaga lahat ng mga premiere na mga performers. Nandito pa rin ako hanggang ngayon. So talagang I am very, very happy.”
She also shared that while it has not been easy, she made it through 15 years all because of the support of her loved ones and fans.
“Yung pag-stay sa industry hanggang ngayon. Napakahirap po talaga gawin ito. Dahil po ‘yun sa suporta niyong lahat, so maraming salamat,” said Yeng.
Yeng was named the champion of the first season of “Pinoy Dream Academy” in 2006. She went on to become the industry’s Pop Rock Royalty, with a number of hits under her belt.
In 2013, Yeng made her acting debut for the Cinema One Originals film “Shift”.
