Ian Veneracion no longer part of 'Huwag Kang Mangamba'

In a surprising turn of events, Ian Veneracion will no longer be a part of drama series “Huwag Kang Mangamba” due to scheduling conflicts.

His departure from the show was announced by ABS-CBN and Dreamscape Entertainment in an official statement today, September 27.

"Due to conflicts in taping schedules and his prior commitments, Ian Veneracion will no longer be able to join the new chapter of "Huwag Kang Mangamba," the official statement read.

On a more positive note, the series’ producers added: "The series will continue to offer hope and inspiration by taking viewers on a new journey with sisters Mira (Andrea Brillantes) and Joy (Francine Diaz), and introducing fresh characters in its latest chapter."

Last July 28, it was announced that Ian will be one of the show’s new cast members. He was initially set to play the character of Elias, a major addition in the storyline of Andrea Brillantes’s character Mira.

Despite Ian’s exit, viewers of the show can still expect to see new characters. Joining the new chapter of the series are Andi Abaya, Nash Aguas, Vivoree, Richard Quan, and Andrea del Rosario.

You can watch “Huwag Kang Mangamba” episodes via Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, TFC, Kapamilya Online Live, iWant TFC, WeTV, and iflix. The show will also be accessible via The Filipino Channel on cable and IPTV for viewers outside of the Philippines.
