It was a big win for Star Cinema's "Hello, Love, Goodbye" at the 36th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies held on Sunday, September 26.
The 2019 blockbuster starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards bagged a total of six awards, including Movie of the Year.
Alden, who played Ethan in the film, won the Movie Actor of the Year, while Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, who played Kathryn's mom in the film, won Movie Supporting Actress of the Year.
Kathryn and Alden were also awarded as Movie Love Team of the Year.
Cathy Garcia-Molina also won Best Director for "Hello, Love, Goodbye," as well as the Movie Screenwriter of the Year alongside Carmi Raymundo and Rona Co.
The biographical drama film "Quezon's Game," meanwhile, was awarded as the Movie Production Designer of the Year.
"Hello, Love, Goodbye," which is currently the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, also previously garnered multiple awards at the 51st Box Office Entertainment Awards, Nationals of Asian Academy Creative Awards 2020, and the 22nd Gawad Pasado.
