Lovi Poe is Lovi-ng her new home network! Now an official Kapamilya, Lovi looks forward to working with ABS-CBN’s top talents.
At a global media conference held on Wednesday, September 16, Lovi expressed her gratitude for the warm welcome she received upon signing with ABS-CBN. While Lovi admittedly found it a tough decision to leave her former network of 15 years, she is full of happiness and excitement for what’s to come.
"So it was tough, but I'm here to celebrate my new home too, and my new family. And I'm just really blessed that I have a lot of people who actually believe in me. This whole room of amazing people. I'm just glad that they've welcomed me with open arms," said Lovi.
Calling it a “dream come true,” Lovi will star alongside Piolo Pascual for her first project as a Kapamilya. They will team up for the Philippine remake of the hit Korean drama "Flower of Evil.”
Piolo isn't the only Kapamilya heartthrob Lovi wants to work with. In fact, she revealed many names of actors and actresses she hopes to work with, not wanting to leave anyone out.
"Of course, Mr. Coco Martin, Gerald (Anderson), Zanjoe (Marudo) again—I've worked with Zanjoe before—and JM de Guzman. I've worked with Carlo Aquino and I would love to work with him again as well. Ang dami, eh. There's just to many to mention na gusto kong makatrabaho," said Lovi.
Lovi continued, ”Of course, I want to work with Anne (Curtis). I want to work with Kim (Chiu). I would love to work with Liza (Soberano), Kathryn (Bernardo)... I can go on. You know what? Everyone. Honestly. I don't want to leave out anybody because I want to work with everyone. With Janine (Gutierrez) as well!”
