A total of 10 members of their family from different households contracted the COVID-19 virus, according to Angel Locsin.
On Instagram Stories, the Kapamilya actress expressed her gratitude to everyone who extended their prayers for her 94-year-old father. Angel earlier revealed in a now-deleted Instagram post that her dad tested positive for COVID.

"Thank you for the prayers. I'm going to take my post down because this is something I don't want to remember. I just needed to air out yesterday, 10 members of the fam from separate houses got COVID."
"Thank you, everyone, for being a ray of sunshine to me and my family," she wrote.
Angel shared how she's been feeling "helpless" for a week in the now-deleted Instagram post, saying how it's especially hard for persons with disabilities like her father to be dealing with a difficult time like this.
“Imagine having COVID at 94. Now, imagine being blind in unfamiliar surroundings.”
“So many realizations during this pandemic. We all have our battles, but some definitely more than others. To the PWD’s and everyone fighting their battles alone, kapit! This too shall pass,” she said.
