“He’s Into Her: The Benison Ball” may be over, but the celebration continues!
At the online event on Friday, August 6, Star Cinema's Managing Director Olivia Lamasan, ABS-CBN's Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, and Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi confirmed that a second season for the hit iWant original series “He’s Into Her” is coming. Its original cast is also expected to return.
This comes after the massive success of the first season, which aired its finale episode exactly a week ago. The fans, however, have been clamoring for a second season since the show premiered last May.
The pilot episode earned record-breaking views on the iWantTFC app and catapulted the streaming platform as the No. 1 app on mobile devices.
It also aired on A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and TFC, with each episode trending on Twitter every week.
Based on the best-selling novel by Maxinejiji, “He’s Into Her” is about a girl named Maxpein (Belle Mariano) who moved to the city from the province to study in the prestigious Benison International School. Almost immediately, she got into trouble with varsity captain Deib (Donny Pangilinan). The two became rivals, but their despise for each other soon turned to romance as they spent more time together.
The first season ended with a MAJOR cliffhanger, but with season 2 officially happening, looks like we’re about to get our answers soon!
Also starring Jeremiah Lisbo, Kaori Oinuma, Rhys Miguel, Joao Constancia, Criza Taa, and more, “He’s Into Her” season 1 is now available to stream on iWantTFC.
