Alex Gonzaga’s cellphone was grabbed from her by a group of snatchers along EDSA, near Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo in Makati City on Wednesday, August 25.
The phone has since been returned to Alex and it’s reported that one of the snatchers has been taken into custody.
Via Instagram Story, the actress/vlogger expressed her gratitude to those who helped her.
“Got my phone back after mahablot sa EDSA! Thank you so much sa Guadalupe Nuevo police sub-station 7 for helping us!”
After naming the police officers and patrolmen who came to her aid, Alex also thanked her personal driver and the bystanders who quickly ran after the snatchers.
It appears that she faced the snatcher after the incident as she revealed that she has spoken to his wife and learned that she’s a fan.
She ended the post by thanking the Lord and appreciating the fact that there are still kind-hearted people who are willing to be there for strangers.
“Thank you, Lord!
