Piolo Pascual is a Kapamilya. Periodt!
The award-winning actor renounced his loyalty to ABS-CBN in an interview on Cinema One’s “Cinema News” on Friday, July 23.
His most recent TV project was the noontime variety show “Sunday Noontime Live” for TV5, which aired from October last year to last January.
But for the Ultimate Heartthrob, he has always remained a Kapamilya.
“At the end of the day, I never left,” he said.
Piolo, who has been promoting his film with Alessandra de Rossi “My Amanda”, even revealed that he recently had a conversation with ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak.
He shared, “I spoke with my boss, si Sir Carlo, on the 4th of July, and we had a good talk. When the time I'm done with quarantine, may meeting kami.”
“I’m a Kapamilya through and through, I don't have to reiterate that,” he continued. “I’ll be back home for sure, pagkatapos ng mga meetings for sure.”
And again, he pointed out, “Just to put this to rest, I'm not going anywhere.”
Aside from “My Amanda”, Piolo is also starring in an upcoming film with Jasmine Curtis-Smith and another one with Cannes Film Festival Best Director awardee Brillante Mendoza.
