As much as "Paano Kita Iibigin" drove us crazy with Piolo Pascual and Regine Velasquez's chemistry, the stars also had their share of struggles while doing the film.
During the pre-show of its digitally restored version, Regine recalled her most unforgettable moments while shooting the movie, among which were her struggles memorizing lines and even fainting on set.
"During that time, I was having migraine. As in hindi ako nakaka-memorize ng lines ko 'cause I was having it really bad na 'pag nagre-rehearse kami, may yelo ako sa ulo. Tapos maiksi lang 'yung sasabihin ko, but hindi ko masabi 'cause I was having a really hard time memorizing," she recalled.
But thanks to her co-star Eugene Domingo, Regine was able to keep up with their scenes.
"Even though I was having a hard time, I was enjoying it so much because Uge (Eugene) was just so funny. Every take, iibahin niya talaga 'yung lines," she added.
The dramatic scenes, however, were a different case for Regine, who even reached the point of fainting on spot due to hyperventilation.
"But the difficult part, I guess, were the dramatic scenes. Hinimatay pa yata ako noon, eh. It was the ending, we were in the farm. Sinalo mo pa nga ako noon, eh," Regine revealed as she spoke to Piolo in the event.
"That has always been my problem. That's why I think I hate doing dramas because I always have a hard time with dramatic scenes, because hindi ako nakakalabas... nagha-hyperventilate talaga ako, hinihimatay talaga ako."
"I think this is the third film na hinihimatay ako talaga. Nahihirapan ako huminga," she added.
