Liza Soberano is Alexandra Trese in her newest shoot with Metro magazine.
On Instagram yesterday, July 25, the Kapamilya actress surprised her followers with some sexy and edgy photos on the cover of the local publication. Inspired by the character she voiced on Netflix's "Trese," Liza showed her fierce and mysterious side just like Alexandra.
The photoshoot also marks the 10th showbiz anniversary of Liza, whom we first met through her television debut in "Wansapanataym."
Fast forward to today, the actress is one of the most sought-after leading ladies in the Kapamilya network, together with her equally dashing reel-and-real life partner Enrique Gil.
In the cover feature, Liza also teased about her upcoming big screen project with the actor, which will be helmed by none other than Blockbuster Director Cathy Garcia-Molina.
“I’m actually working on a movie right now with Enrique,” she revealed. “It’s a romantic comedy, and this is our ode to our fans. When the pandemic happened, they were really looking forward to us coming back on air, and then we had to announce that we wouldn’t be continuing it. So I felt really bad for them, because they were waiting for how many months."
She also talked about her fangirling moments, how she found her voice as a human rights advocate, and how she plans to pursue various roles and characters in the future.
